Start of project execution of the largest PA6 plant in mainland China

Important representatives of the province government and the company attended the event which was celebrated at the projected plant site in the in the Binhai Industrial Zone near Changle City, Fujian Province, China. Liheng will build a continuous polymerization plant for polyamide 6 with Zimmer® polyamide technology. Lurgi Zimmer will carry out the project execution including technology, basic engineering, procurement of equipment and supervision services.

After going into commercial production, the plant will hold a daily production capacity of 200 metric tons, and therefore, becomes the largest single line polyamide 6 polymerization production base in China. This project emphasizes Lurgi Zimmer’s leading position in polyamide technology.
