Klaus Moll transfers from the Executive to the Supervisory Board of Lurgi

Following consultations with the new shareholder Air Liquide, Dipl.-Ing. Klaus K. Moll will resign from his position as CEO and Member of the Management Board at the end of the year and will join the company's Supervisory Board on behalf of Air Liquide. Klaus Moll, through his successful international experience in the industry, will be
providing his in-depth understanding of the environment and valuable guidance for Lurgi’s operations.

During the past years, Klaus Moll brought the company on the road to success in terms of both, strategy and operations.

"I personally thank Klaus Moll for having set up new and exciting directions for Lurgi in the past years and providing highly professional support during the incorporation of Lurgi into the Air Liquide Group", said François Darchis, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lurgi AG. François Venet, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, will take the chair of the Board as from 1 January 2008.
