Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions, the Engineering and Construction activity of the Air Liquide group, is proud to announce that it has been selected by BASF to supply their gas-to-propylene (GTP) project with Air Liquide’s leading MegaMethanol™ and MTP™ (methanol-to-propylene) proprietary technologies.
Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions will be providing a license package for both technologies, including basic engineering and related services.
BASF’s proposed US Gulf Coast project would represent their largest single-plant investment to date and the first propylene production based on methane. The final investment decision is expected in 2016.
