As part of a long-standing collaboration, Air Liquide and ArianeGroup have renewed their strategic industrial partnership, signing two major new contracts to support the operational phase of Ariane 6.

Within this renewed partnership, Air Liquide Engineering & Technologies will provide the critical cryogenic equipment necessary for the manufacturing and propulsion of the rockets. This contract covers equipment deliveries up to the 42nd flight of Ariane 6.

The partnership also includes a second renewed gas supply agreement between ArianeGroup and Air Liquide Spatial Guyane. This agreement secures the delivery of propellants, such as liquid hydrogen and oxygen, alongside critical fluids needed to safely execute all ground operations and power the rocket's ascent.

Supporting the industrial ramp-up

Following the successful completion of its initial flights, ArianeGroup is currently increasing the Ariane 6 production rate. Together, these two agreements will support this industrialization phase and the continuous ramp-up of the European heavy launcher.

This renewed collaboration builds on more than 50 years of support from Air Liquide for the development of successive launcher generations in the Ariane program. Leveraging its unique dual expertise in space cryogenic technologies and the supply and management of gases, Air Liquide continues to contribute to the reliability and performance of Europe's space transportation systems.
