The HELIAL range provides highly stable cooling power at 4.5 K, ensuring optimal operational conditions for superconducting magnets, radiofrequency cavities, and delicate scientific instruments.

A scalable range for tailor-made cooling

The HELIAL series offers a wide variety of customizable options, ensuring the system meets your exact project specifications. The product line is divided into three main configurations, all of which can utilize nitrogen pre-cooling to further increase the system's overall cooling capacity:

  • HELIAL SF: Provides a cooling power from 100 to 300 W @ 4.5 K, with an electrical consumption of 45 to 132 kW.
  • HELIAL MF: Provides a cooling power from 300 to 600 W @ 4.5 K, with an electrical consumption of 132 to 210 kW.
  • HELIAL LF: Provides a cooling power from 600 to 1,000 W @ 4.5 K, with an electrical consumption of 210 to 315 kW.

Easy to use & fully automated

HELIAL refrigerators are designed to be exceptionally user-friendly, featuring fully automated control systems. Users benefit from a simplified "plug-and-play" operational model. Compressor management, temperature cooldown phases, steady-state running, and shutdown sequences are all intelligently automated. This drastically reduces the need for constant manual intervention and minimizes the risk of human error during critical experiments. Furthermore, this translates into exceptional longevity, with some of our systems remaining in operation for more than 30 years.

Budget predictability is crucial for long-term research programs. Thanks to its highly reliable components and automated architecture, the HELIAL system requires significantly reduced maintenance interventions. Combined with optimized utility consumption (nitrogen, water, electricity and compressed air) across all ranges, the HELIAL ensures a strictly controlled Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) over the entire lifecycle of the refrigerator.
